Join artist Morgan Street for CREATURE! An 8 session workshop for kids. Each student will design their own character and create a wearable sculpture using puppet and prop making techniques, in time for Halloween! This workshop will explore various pattern making and sculpture techniques and is an exciting opportunity to work with unique materials and tools.
Morgan Street is a Los Angeles based maker, designer, educator, and fabricator. Embracing overlapping disciplines, she works in a variety of mediums including wood, metal, fabric, electronics, and plastics. She most enjoys making props and puppets, designing monsters, and exploring natural wonders.
Ages 10+
When: Tuesdays, 4:30 – 5:45 pm
Workshop Dates: September 11, 18, 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Where:
Center for the Arts Eagle Rock
Cost: $120 for 8 sessions
Please note: workshop fees are refundable up to 2 weeks prior to start date and are subject to a 20% administrative fee.
