Imagine Studio

Since 1998, Center for the Arts Eagle Rock has been offering innovative arts programming to a diverse audience of children and young adults in schools and community groups throughout Northeast Los Angeles.

By bringing the arts back into LAUSD, we are investing in our youth.  We currently serve 2,600 students at 19 elementary and middle schools in Northeast Los Angeles, many of which have Title 1 status, through our after-school arts enrichment program, Imagine Studio.  Our teachers build their classes into a small community, where freedom of expression feels safe and positive. Taught by local working artists, our classes are highly student-motivated and project-oriented.

  School Testimonials:

“Annandale Elementary School has been fortunate to receive support from Center for the Arts Eagle Rock (CFAER). Annandale has not been able to afford additional performing arts allocations for the past 5 years. There are limit enrichment opportunities in the areas and often times, these limited opportunities are inaccessible to parents. CFAER has filled this gap in providing Annandale with a high quality enriching education.”

– Gabriel Arreguin, Principal at Annandale Elementary School

“All of the educational programs the Center brings to our school are of excellent quality and enrich the students, as they learn more about the arts and how to use their personal experiences to create artwork. We hope to continue our partnership with Center for the Arts Eagle Rock, as they give our students the gift of artistic expression, storytelling, and the guidance of professional art mentors as teachers.”

– Arturo Valdez, Principal at Luther Burbank Middle School
