Crushes Zine Fest and Art Show
We were very excited to host our very first zine fest to correspond with a Valentines themed art show on February 10, 2024. Zine vendors and artists of all kinds of mediums came together for this one day event supporting local arts and our afterschool arts classes, Imagine Studios. We also featured a Polaroid photobooth!
Tertium Organum:
Traversing Space
In partnership with Label Curatorial and Pasadena Art Alliance, we invite you to explore the fourth dimension through the premiere of the two-part exhibition, Mysticism and Mathematics with the first installment Tertium Organum: Traversing Space followed by The Golden Ratio: A Procession. The exhibition series curated by Laura Whitcomb explores the radical shift that saw modern art interfacing with scientific advances and how artists and scholars throughout history used mathematics as a gateway to convey metaphysical principles. Both exhibitions explore how the revival of esotericism often provided new modalities in thinking that resulted in radical progress. The exhibition is rooted in the ideas of Ukrainian-born P.D. Ouspensky's landmark publication, Tertium Organum: A Key to the Enigmas of the World. Tertium Organum highlighted the fourth dimension before Einstein's theories emerged that infinite time and space exist simultaneously.

In recognition of Earth Day 2022, join us as the Los Angeles Printmaking Society (LAPS) presents WILD LIFE featuring artists addressing a range of issues facing native wildlife. The exhibition activities will also feature a special Earth Day printmaking workshop and a presentation from CLAW. Los Angeles. CLAW supports local wildlife by the creation and expansion of protected corridors and overpasses for safe passage to the essential connected habitats of our impacted mountain lion population.
